ROTOKAWA DEVON 667

DESCRIPTION

Bull 667 is 8 years old and comes from lineage that has been grass based for more than 70 years. His lineage goes back to the great Potheridge Masterpiece, who produced Dean Peace, who produced the excellent Bull 425; 425 produced the 667 bull that has so many great animals in the Rotokawa herd. No grain of any kind has ever been used in this herd or with this bull.

Bull 667 has a little extra length of back but is still well balanced with heavy shoulders and large rump and loin area. This bull is an excellent choice for using on your Devon herd. 667 does an excellent job when used on commercial cows. These bulls consistently produce calves of a weight range that allows them to be born easily. Bull 667 has many offspring (male and female) in the Rotokawa herd. The daughters of 667 cross very well with 688 that would allow building a herd of commercial cows. Calves from 667 will finish on grass in 15 to 18 months.
